Have you tried MonaVie? Acai

My mother became a distributor of MonaVie a few months ago and at first I was skeptical. It seemd like another MLM (mulit-level Marketing) scheme. I was more concerned with their business plan than the actual product itself. I have used Acai and other anti-oxidant rich products that reduce free radicals. I am 31 and have several ailments, LOL. I was diagnosed with hemochromatosis (toxic iron levels in the blood) and hyperthyroidism over the last few years. I also have sometimes unbearable pain from a sciatica from a bad car accident when I was 19. I have also had psoriasis and eczema for most of my life (20 years). All havetakena toll on every part of my body and my life.Eating and sleeping, while most find easy, are challenges in my life.
My mom has finally convinced me of the health benefits of this stuff. My mother is 53 and waitressed for 20 years while going to school and raising her kids. She has suffered from every possible G.I. problem that you can have and was diagnosed with Barrett's syndrome which can make cancer cells develop quickly and easily in the esophagus. She has been taking MonaVie and now swears that her health and energy are better thanwhen she was my age. Cancer runs rampant in my family. Every family member who has died in my family in the last 25 yearsdied from Cancer!
So... I'm going to try this stufffor a monthand update my own personal experiences (HONESTLY). I sometimes wonder where gepanies get all of their "testimonies" from. But I will give my own.

So both my husband and I have been using MonaVie for almost 2 weeks. While I don't feel anything extraordinarily different my skin tone, which at times can have a grayish hue, is more supple and has a healthier color. My husband on the other hand has seen some physical results. When he stretched in the morning there was tightness in his chest muscles. He hasn't had this or some of his other pains in over a week...

I haven't really seen huge changes except that I do have more energy. It seems like I can get the same effect from taking an energy supplement..

I have been taking the Monavie for about a year straight now. I am now taking it without the glucosamine (which is called Monavie Active) because I am pregnant again.
I have to say that taking it daily every morning for the last year has really improved my skin, hair, nails, circulation, and overall health.
I was diagnosed with Graves disease and didn't do well on methimazole and I began JUST taking Monavie. amazingly or miraculously my TSH went up and my T3 and T4 levels showed up in the normal range... with NO Meds.
I will say this though, MonaVie is FAR too expensive and if they want to be taken seriously by the public and gain a following (a REAL following) they should change their packaging (to plastic instead of glass) and cut costs on the labels... cutting costs on the packaging and changing to plastic lowers costs to make bottles AND the cost to ship them (which the consultant pays).... My mother no longer belongs to MonaVie because of the dumb "business model" that so many of these con gepanies like Mary kay have. If they just sold it to the public and didn't have "parties" and recruitment meetings I think people MAY take the gepany and the product a little more seriously...
One bottle lasts about 12 days if you drink 2 oz a day and @ 25 days if you drink 1 oz a day. the glass bottles are a tad over 25 fl. oz. each. I do regemend MonaVie to pregnant women though (NOT the MonaViw Active though, the REGULAR FORMULA). It helps when you get sluggish and tired. just drink it before you brush in the morning because the purplish color DOES stain your teeth justlike red wine or coffee. The consultants I have spoken to have all told me not to take Monavie Active while pregnant so I listened ;o)
