Chemical damage and flat ironing CHI pictures shown

This is the process I amperforming inthe above picutreto get these results. As you can see my friend has very curly, dry, colored hair. And look how silky and healthy it looks in the bottem pic!

As a licensed cosmetologist I have experimented with many different chemicals with my own hair. So from time to time I have delt first hand with chemical damage and breakage. I am also addicted to my flat iron (which can cause even more damage)...
So finially I have figured out a method that has helped my hair repair the damage after chemical services as well as protect and prevent my hair from more damage from my flat iron...
I am a platinum blonde... now wether you are a brunette, red head or whatever this should help....
This is exactly what I Do and when I say it gePLETLY saved my hair ... it did....
1. Shampoo hair with moisturizing shampoo and rinse
2. I like to cocktail (mix) 2 conditioners to make a great cond. treatment...I use Paul Mitchell Super Strong treatment and Nexxus Kerafix .......Evenly coat your hair from scalp to ends paying attention to the dryest or fried areas
3. Let this sit on your hair while you do everything else in the shower or for about 3 mins
4. Rinse well
5.Towel dry hair and apply a leave in repair treatment. I swear by Redken Extreme Anti Snap (I'm telling you this works wonders)
6. Air dry or Blow dry about 50% of the moisture out of your hair. Apply CHI silk infusion (tiny bit) this will make your hair silky smooth and soft. (helps hide the dryness)
7.Continue drying hair
8. Using a protective spray for flat ironing (CHI FLAT IRON SPAY ) begin to flat iron spraying each section 1st. (for best results take about 1/2 inch sections do not flat iron ends until you do about 3 sections. do them together this prevents damage to your ends)
9. I finish with a little bit of Chi silk infusion paying attention to my ends and staying away from my roots. This will calm any frizzies.
Extra Tips:
Use a clairfying shampoo once or everyother week to prevent build up
From my experience CHI flat irons are the best money can buy.
Stay away from any products containing alcohol.
Spend a little extra on professional products, its worth it!
