This watch was left to me by my ex-husband's step Grandmother (it's a long story!) I was told it might have been late 50's or 60's. It's a backwind in 18kt gold. I have been to several watch dealers and have looked through a huge watch price guide as well as looked here on ebay, but I can't find anything just like it. I had planned on selling it for the gold content (approx 40 grams) since the main spring is broken and I don't ever wear it. I'd hate to have it just melted without first trying to see if it has more value as a vintage watch that's worth repairing. I've taken the back off, but can't get the "guts" out of the gold back piece to see if it has numbers anywhere. The band is marked with the the Movado symbol. Click these links to see pics. Thanks!
