Greetings to these boards! I hope I'm in the right place for answers I recently sold this Vintage Lucerne ladies' watch to a friend, and was confident it was from the 40's-50's. But when she took it to a jeweler, she was told it was a "reproduction"?! I do believe the band is "newer". And are those genuine "diamond" chips? I got the watch at an estate sale along with many others like it, and was shocked to hear this. IS it true? Were "reproductions" made of these wind-up vintage beauties? Appreciate any guidance or feedback from you! Thanks to all! It's all in a day's work
